ESTABLISHMENT HISTORY

Indonesian Institute for Sacred Music (YAMUGER) was established on February 11, 1967 by deed approved by Willy Silitonga No.7 and No.57 and updated with the document approved by H.Z. Simon, SH, dated April 13, 1991. The founders are:

1. Alm. Johannes Ludwig John Chrysostom Abineno
2. Alm. Epaphroditus Laurentius Pohan-Siahaan
3. Dr. Alfred Simanjuntak
4. Alm. Lauw Kian Joe (J. L. Aulia)
5. Alm. Kiem Tan Swan (Tanutama)
6. Alm. Pieter Domingus Soplanit
7. Alm. Yap Heng Ghie (Ruben Budhisetiawan)

Dr. Alfred Simanjuntak is still active in YAMUGER and regularly come to the meeting of the Core Team Song Church (TING) and still productive creating songs.

VISION AND MISSION

VISION: To become the center of the development of Church music in Indonesia.

MISSION: To improve the activity and creativity in the field of art music of the Church in Indonesia in the broadest sense.
